President
Jon Carlson is the President of Orchard Creek Capital. Jon previously served as the CFO of Aeroflex AMS Solutions for 15 years. Before that – Jon was a financial manager at Ford Motor Company for 10 years. Jon has extensive operational experience with world-class manufacturing companies. He has also played a leadership role in numerous acquisitions over the course of his career. Jon is responsible for deal sourcing and deal execution at the Company. Jon graduated cum laude with an accounting degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and he received an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan. Jon is a licensed CPA.
Investor Team
The Orchard Creek Capital investor team is comprised of eight senior business executives with substantial leadership experience. Collectively the team has significant hands-on management experience and a long track record of operational success. The team also has an exceptional amount of private investment experience - with direct experience in dozens of successful transactions. The Orchard Creek investor team provides the equity for each investment personally. This approach allows the Company to make flexible investment decisions quickly. This approach also accommodates the long-term investment perspective taken by Orchard Creek Capital. John Smucker - the founder and former CEO of MCE Technologies - serves as the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors.
